LED - A Brave New World of Lighting
Aesthetics is now fully committed to promoting and encouraging the specification of LED lighting in New Zealand, both in commercial and residential applications.
Whereas once LED was suitable only as decorative or 'impact' lighting designed to wow the public with its vivid colours and minimalist appeal, the technology of LED has advanced into more general forms of lighting such as downlights, pillar lights, exterior spots and profile extrusions.
The upshot is effective general illumination provided now by an energy-efficient light source, easily maintained (50,000 hour lifespan) and built into aesthetically pleasing luminaire designs.
