Austube 100 Beam
This particular Austube System was specifically configured for Massey University Library. Because Austube is a proprietary system, we were able to design and end product that precisely suited the client’s needs, that is one of many things that make the system so different. The Austube system was installed in every aisle of the 3 level library. The two tube system was installed with one lamp up and one lamp down configuration on seperate switching circuits. The downward lamp provided task lighting, whilst the upward lamp contributed to general ambient illuminance. The downward tube was also movement controlled for energy efficiency. The end result is very effective and quietly understated. Uniformity of vertical levels are very good with an average illumination of 200lux.
